On October 23, starting at 9:30 AM, Oradea will become for a day, Romania’s tourism hub with the help of Meet Oradea event, held at Oradea Fortress. Over 20 travel agencies from across the country, from cities such as Bucharest, Oradea, Baia Mare, Satu Mare, Galați, Brașov, Cluj, Timișoara, Târgoviște, Sibiu, and Arad, are invited to discover Oradea’s architectural beauty, rich gastronomy, the hospitality of the locals, as well as the wellness and spa offers in Băile Felix and Băile 1 Mai.

The event presents an excellent opportunity for travel agencies to explore Oradea’s rapid urban and cultural development, serving as a platform for networking and exchanging ideas among participants. The organizers aim for the invited agencies to include the city in their offerings for both Romanian and international tourists.

At Meet Oradea, Romanian travel agencies will also have the chance to interact with several international exhibitors from Italy and Slovakia, who will present their best travel offers and packages specially tailored for the Romanian market. Participants will benefit from exclusive discounts for their clients, along with valuable information about the most attractive tourist destinations in Europe.

A key highlight of the event will be the presence of board members from the Tatra Region Tourism Agency, Slovakia, who will share valuable insights about the Tatra Mountains area and explore potential collaborations with Romanian travel agencies. They will be introduced to Oradea’s beauty with the support of Miroslav Iabloncsik, General Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic in Romania, a partner of the Meet Oradea event.

Additionally, during the October 23 event, Alexandru Chira, director of APTOR, will provide participants with valuable information about Oradea and the city’s tourism potential, with its architectural ensemble being part of the international Art Nouveau cities network.

Through this event, Romanian travel agencies will have the opportunity to promote Oradea as a top tourist destination and develop new partnerships with travel agencies across Europe. Meet Oradea is more than just a networking event – it is a crucial step in strengthening Oradea’s position on the map of Romanian, European, and international tourism.

The event is organized by Studio 157, an agency specializing in global event management for classic and medical tourism, in partnership with Visit Oradea, the Honorary Consulate of the Slovak Republic in Romania, the Association for the Promotion of Tourism in the Băile Felix and Băile 1 Mai Resorts, and Hotel President Oradea.
